The Perth Medieval and Renaissance Group was founded in 1981. It welcomes to its meetings all who have an interest in the culture, life and history of medieval and early modern Europe. Membership is open to the general public, as well as to staff, graduates, postgraduates and undergraduates of all Western Australian universities. Guests are welcome to attend all meetings.

PMRG is a partner in the ARC Network for Early European Research (NEER).
